FOR FOUNDERS / PITCH BUILDER

Present your idea to investors

Answer a few questions about your company and your round. The builder writes a short first email and lists the funders that back your stage, sector and region, with the way each one wants to hear from you.

TIPS

What makes a first email work

Short beats complete

A first email is to earn a reply, not to answer every question. Five or six short paragraphs, and the deck only when they ask.

Specific beats impressive

“120 nurseries pay £49 a month” says more than “strong traction”. Numbers, names and dates make a pitch believable.

Write to the fund, not the market

Say why this funder: a company they backed, their stage, their sector. The builder starts the email with their name; add one line about why them.

Company Signal lists funders so founders can find them. We are not a broker or a financial adviser: we do not recommend funders, pass pitches on or take any fee from them, and nothing here is an offer of finance. Each entry comes from the funder's own public pages, last checked 1 Oct 2026; amounts, terms and rates change, so check them with the funder before you apply.
