Privacy notice.

Lead Forge is operated by Krapton (“we”). You can reach us at hello@krapton.com or in writing at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. This notice covers the public website at this domain. The private research workspace used by the Krapton team is covered by our internal policies.

Company profiles show information published by Companies House on the public register: company names, numbers, registered office addresses, status, SIC codes, filing history, charges, and the names, roles, appointment dates, nationalities, occupations and countries of residence of officers and people with significant control. We process this information under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and on the basis of our legitimate interest in making public business information easier to find and understand.

We display the register as recorded and do not add personal contact details of individuals. The AI analysis is generated from the record and is instructed not to state or guess email addresses, phone numbers or websites. Where Lead Forge Plus shows a discovered website or business email address, it comes from the company's own public website and is shown as business contact information.

Corrections and objections. We cannot change the register; corrections must be made with Companies House, and our profiles update when the record does. If you object to a profile appearing on Lead Forge, or believe our copy is out of date, email hello@krapton.com with the company number. We will re-read the record, and we can take the profile off Lead Forge while the matter is resolved: its page, the directory, search and our sitemaps.

Page views. When you open a page we record the path, the time, your time zone, your screen size, a device category (mobile, tablet or desktop), the referring site if it is external, your approximate location (the country, region and city our hosting provider works out from your connection) and a random identifier stored in your browser so that repeat visits from the same browser can be counted once. We do not record your IP address with this data, your name, or anything you type. We use it to understand which pages are useful and where our readers are.

Vercel Analytics. Our hosting provider collects aggregate, cookie-free performance and traffic metrics. See Vercel's analytics privacy notice.

Accounts. If you create an account we store your email address, a password (held only as a secure hash by our authentication provider, Supabase), the name you give us and when you joined. We use them to log you in and to send account emails such as email confirmation and password resets. To give each account its free Ask AI questions, we also record how many questions the account has asked about each company, but not the questions themselves, and, if you buy Lead Forge Plus, that your account holds it. Companies you save are kept on your account, and for companies you track, a copy of the public record from when you started, to show what changed. You can change your email address or delete your account, with everything stored on it, at any time from your account page.

Searches and AI questions. Company searches are answered from Lead Forge's own database. Questions you ask the assistant are sent, with the company record, to Google's Gemini API to generate an answer. We rate-limit these requests by network address to protect the service and do not keep a log of your questions.

Contact and Plus enquiries. If you send a message or request Lead Forge Plus, we store the details you give us (name, email address, message) so we can reply, issue an invoice and send an access code. We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for our records, and we do not add you to marketing lists.

Company pages and Insights show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show these ads, to measure them and to limit how often you see the same one, and, if you agree, to choose ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Visitors in the UK and the European Economic Area are asked for their choice through Google's consent message, and can change it later from its privacy and cookie settings link.

Lead Forge's own cookies are only the ones the site needs to work (Google's advertising cookies are described above):

• Account session. When you log in, our authentication provider's cookies keep you logged in, and a companion cookie tells pages that you are logged in.
• Lead Forge Plus. When you are logged in, a cookie notes for a few hours whether your account holds Plus, so pages can show the Plus features without checking every time. Plus activated in a browser before it was tied to accounts is remembered there by a session cookie. A companion cookie lets pages show the Plus features.
• Sign-up return page. A short-lived cookie remembers the page to bring you back to once you confirm a new account.

Your browser's storage holds the number of free questions you have used per company (a copy of the count on your account), whether you dismissed the analysis tip, the anonymous visitor identifier described above and, while you wait for a confirmation email, the address it was sent to. Clearing site data removes all of it and logs you out.

To load faster on later visits, the site installs a service worker that keeps copies of Lead Forge's own design files and images in your browser. It never stores pages, company records, AI answers or anything about you, and clearing site data removes it too.

Supabase (accounts and log-in), Google (Gemini API requests containing company records and your questions, and AdSense, which receives information about your visit such as your device and the page you are reading), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Workspace (email we send and receive) and Neon (the database that stores company records and enquiries). Each acts as our processor or as an independent controller under their own terms. We do not sell personal information.

You can delete your account yourself from your account page. You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to our processing, by emailing hello@krapton.com. We reply within one month. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. This notice may change; the date at the top tells you when it last did. See also the terms of use.
