About the features
- Do I need an account to use Lead Forge?
- Not to browse. The directory, search, city pages and the public record on every profile are open to everyone. A free account unlocks the AI analysis, Ask AI and the people with significant control. Lead Forge Plus is activated with an access code.
- Is there an API or export of the directory?
- Not yet. Profiles can be shared by URL and briefs can be exported as text. If you need bulk data or an integration, contact the team and we will discuss it.
- How current is the data?
- Lead Forge stores new incorporations from the Companies House register in its own database and adds the latest registrations every day; profiles, the directory and the city pages are read from it. A generated AI brief is cached for up to 30 days and can be regenerated at any time.
- What is different about Lead Forge compared with the Companies House website?
- Companies House is the source of record and is built for filing and lookup. Lead Forge adds discovery — new companies by date and city, categories, plain-English SIC descriptions — and interpretation, with an AI brief that is clearly separated from the facts.
