What Lead Forge is
- What is Lead Forge?
- Lead Forge is a free tool for finding newly registered UK companies. It lists new incorporations by date and city from the public Companies House register and gives every company a profile with the full public record and a clearly labelled AI analysis.
- Who is Lead Forge for?
- Sales and growth teams, agencies, accountants, banks and insurers, recruiters, researchers and founders — anyone who benefits from knowing about a company in the weeks after it is formed.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to browse. The directory, search, city pages and the public record on every profile work without one. A free account is needed to read or generate the AI analysis, use Ask AI and see the people with significant control.
- Who makes Lead Forge?
- Lead Forge is built and run by Krapton, a software development company. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House.
THE DATA
Where the company data comes from
- Where does the company data come from?
- From the public Companies House register, read through its API under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Every profile links to the official Companies House page for the same company.
- How current is the data?
- Lead Forge stores new incorporations from the Companies House register in its own database and adds the latest registrations every day. Profiles, the directory and the city pages are read from that database.
- Why does a company show my accountant's address?
- The location shown is the registered office filed with Companies House, which is often an accountant's or formation agent's address rather than a trading address.
- What is a SIC code and why does the category not match what a company does?
- A SIC code is the Standard Industrial Classification a company chooses when it registers. It describes intended activity and is not verified, so Lead Forge shows it as registered activity and labels any inference from it.
- I am named on a company record. Can it be removed?
- Officer and PSC details are part of the public register published by Companies House and Lead Forge displays them as recorded. To correct or remove information you must apply to Companies House; contact us and we will re-read the record once it changes, and we can take the profile off Lead Forge while that happens.
AI ANALYSIS
How the AI analysis works
- What does the AI analysis include?
- An executive brief, why now, opportunity signals rated high to low, potential needs, outreach angles and suggested questions. Each statement is labelled public data or AI interpretation.
- Which model writes it?
- Google Gemini, given the company record, today's date and an explicit list of what is not in the record. Output is validated against a schema before it is shown.
- Does the AI browse the web or guess contact details?
- No. It reads the Companies House record only and is instructed never to state or guess a website, email address, phone number, revenue, headcount or funding.
- How often is the analysis regenerated?
- A brief is cached for up to 30 days so every visitor sees the same analysis. You can regenerate it from the profile at any time.
- What is the 2-question limit?
- With a free account you can ask the assistant 2 questions per company, on any device. Lead Forge Plus removes the limit on every company.

What Plus includes and how to get it
- What does Lead Forge Plus include?
- Unlimited Ask AI on every company, the discovered website and contact details held against a record, and priority research requests to the Krapton team. The AI analysis and brief downloads come with every free account.
- How much does Plus cost?
- €10/month per workspace, billed monthly and invoiced by Krapton.
- How do I activate Plus?
- Request the steps by email on the Plus page and pay the invoice issued by Krapton. Then log in to your Lead Forge account and paste the access code you receive into the activation box. Plus is saved to your account and works on every device you log in on.
- Can I get a refund?
- If the access code does not work or the Plus features are unavailable, contact us within 14 days and we will fix it or refund the fee.
